Here is a photo I took of the interior of Notre-Dame Basilica in Montreal, Canada. It is one of the most beautiful Catholic churches I have ever seen. The basilica is built in the gothic style and it features very prominent architecture and well defined details. The basilica was built on top of a previous smaller church and the interiors were finally completed in the 1880s.
The most interesting feature is the intricate lighting which adds to the majestic feeling of being inside the building. Usually the church is busy with tourists since it is one of the most visited sites in Montreal.
Looking at this now since the cathedral in Paris caught fire.
Oh, it’s such a tragedy, so much history destroyed. Thankfully they were able to save a lot.
It looks icredible and fantastic!
It is really quite jaw-dropping to be inside, usually Canadian churches are very modern but this has the European style
beautiful pictures love canda
Canada has lots of nice places
I think my relatives and myself visited this church in 1976 during the Summer Olympic Games in Montreal Canada but I could be wrong.
They probably did since it’s a very popular tourist attraction.
It is a very popular attraction since the Mass was in French.
Basilica is very beautiful!
Scary? Haha, that’s the last thing I would think of :))
