Earthquake shocks are felt strongly in some parts of Indonesia, Friday night, December 15, 2017. The earthquake occurred twice, with a lapse of time of about 40 minutes.

Shocks caused by the earthquake are felt by residents in several cities, in Java, Bali, to West Nusa Tenggara. The power of shocks varies.
Glad to hear you and your family are well. When I first heard about it, I literally went “Thank God you are not in Jakarta.” Sorry for being late, I was off-line the whole weekend. Anyway, glad to hear you’re okay. Take care…
That’s okay. I really appreciate your caring, Rozana. Have a great Monday…
I was on a trip this day. I’m glad you’re all well in your family.
Yes, we are all in good, Elenka. It has happened on Friday night. Thank you very much for your attention and caring
We can prepare for typhoon or hurricane. We have little time for fire. None at all where earthquake is concerned. It is a sad reality. I used to live in a condominium and quakes can give you anxiety. I hope that people will recover just the same for the “loss”.
You’re right, Harping. The earthquake is something we can not anticipate. But if we dive in, in fact, whatever happens on earth, losses always occur in all forms of the game of life though it is, talk and experience it has a much different level of difficulty (but this also depends on the awareness of each).
Oh, we are back at Harping which reminds of the other Lee who was such a great one. Losses occur everyday, every minute, every second. When we fail to notice awareness, we also lose. So maybe we are losing every second of every minute of every hour of every day.
Hahahaha… Well, that’s Harping my wise friend
Glad you are alright. I hope everyone else is as well.
Yes, we are all in good, Brenda. Thank you very much for your attention and caring.
I am glad to see you are all right but an earthquake is frightening. That is one downside to many areas in New Zealand. You may have heard of the earthquake in Christchurch New Zealand in the South Island where many people died.
The most recent serious earth quake hit the north of the South Island, Kaikoura and although there were few casualties, it cut off whole towns so there was no road access. Now the roads are open and have just come right.
Not only Kaikoura but it hit Wellington over Cook Strait in the North Island.
New Zealand is sitting on Geographic plates or fault lines, and is often having earth quakes.
Thank you for your caring, Pamela. The earthquakes are scary indeed. But I fully believe that everyone is under the will of God then we have our own way. I’ve heard about the disaster you mentioned and New Zealand is a disaster-prone area. It is also similar to Indonesia, perhaps slightly below because geographically Indonesia is an archipelagic country located at the confluence of four tectonic plates namely the Asian Continent, the Australian Continent, the Indian Ocean plate and the Pacific Ocean. In the southern and eastern parts of Indonesia, there is a volcanic arc stretching from Sumatra Island, Java – Nusa Tenggara and Sulawesi, whose sides are both old and low volcanic mountains, partly dominated by swamps. The condition is very potent as well as prone to disasters such as volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, and landslides. Data show that Indonesia is one of the world’s highest seismic states, more than 10 times the level of seismicity in the United States.
I’m not brave but, there’s not much I fear. Nature, while a benevolent nourish and nurturer has the ability to frighten the fish out of me. Glad you and yours are safe and well.
My condolences to you countrymen.
Apparently, my focus has begun to shift by the crowing of chickens early in the morning so I reply with my language. This is what I mean; “I believe with your determination that comes from the sincerity of nature, then you have a strong confidence.” Thank you for caring about the news that I’ve been told and your concern for me and my countrymen. “
Ah but, at least you still have focus.
I thought your native language quite beautiful and most refreshing. In fact, I can now see your work being choreographed in precisely that tongue. How exquisite, good Botosom!
Nature knows no deceit. My nature is determination, though not willful. Confidence is like the tide. there are extremes but, remain within parameters.
For reasons I cannot explain, ever, I care of all humans. Particularly, the few I’ve come to cherish…
Ahh… I think I cannot find one perfect word of praise for your sincerity, my brother! I just can say thank you.
Well, finally stymied… grin. I’ve got a word, of course I do. It’s not anything new, you know it too. SpLaSh! Ha!
I too, thank you.
That is your specialty, the abundance of words!
Ha! “Specialty”? Not the word on the tip of my dorsal…Thank you, brother
See! This fish is very humble, right?
Humble bubbles fumbled by Blundering Oblivious Bloat. HA! Thank you my inspirational brother, you just titled my next rhyme…
I hope you realize I spent almost my entire Virily time with you, and enjoyed every moment….
Exactly! I also use my time to enjoy my togetherness with you! Once again, I am very honored and grateful for that. I bend down in front of your soul, my brother who I respect.
And I exalt your essence. Grateful for your presence. And above all your friendship. A true brother and I am honored.
I’m just another you, brother fin
We could both do worse too, winged one
Yes indeed we are, brother fins
How terrible! Thanks God, you and your family are well.
Yes, Zaklina that hard shock was very uncomfortable, my wife and two girls had felt dizzy and nervous for several hours. But as you have said, we are grateful that we are all well. Thank you for your caring, Zaklina.
I hope it did effect the tide. No matter 6-7 is bad. Buildings crumble. Glad to hear all of your family is all right. We have been being shook as well with about 8 this month so far, but the biggest was a 4.0.
I mean didn’t not did, typo. 🙁
Right, Kim. The strength of the quake was strong enough! That is why the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) had issued a warning alert Tsunami for residents around the earthquake to prepare for all possibilities. Yes, I am grateful that all my relatives and friends are safe and well. Thank you for your attention, Kim.
Wow that is so scary Albert. And so many lives are at stake with these disasters. I hope you get in touch with your family and friends soon.
I’ve managed to contact all my friends and relatives, Carol. They all survived. Thank you very much for your caring, my dear friend.
You are very welcome and so glad to read the happy ending for your family.
Yes, Carol. 30 minutes ago, the last relative we worry about has given the good news.
I was just about to ask when I read these comments. So happy to hear.
Earthquakes scares us all, and I feel bad for people that have to handle the after effects of such a destructive pattern
You are right, LaJenna. I am quite worried about some friends or relatives who live in areas close enough to the epicenter. Unfortunately, some of them cannot be called until now, others are in good condition even though their homes have been damaged.
