I believe you have read some beautiful books and watched some beautiful movies.
I like happy, positive, hopeful, optimistic endings, or where good wins over bad. I think that we get enough unhappy endings in our real life. Happy endings are enjoyable. Many people like them, as they say that there is enough unpleasantness in real life. I agree with them. Also I like endings which reach a satisfying conclusion.
♦ Some friends of mine like surprising endings,
♦ others like open endings,
♦ others like tragic endings that cause a deep emotional response,
♦ others like endings that fit the story,
♦ others like realistic endings.

I love to read books but rarely read novels. I love to watch movies with any story except horror. I can accept any kinds endings depends on the storyline.
