i went Whale Watching in Seattle several times. It is the most incredible experience to see those gentle giants. Plus it ties back into my weather vane motif for today!

That was my father’s wind vane on the roof. It was originally for the farm and then was on the house on Kinser Pike. I don’t know if mom took it with her to her new house. I will have to ask.
There is a copper fish on top of the courthouse in Bloomington Indiana. It once famously took more wind than expected and crashed to the ground!

Boy, would I love to do some whale watching right up close.
it is an amazing experience. I’ve only done it in the Puget Sound (Seattle) but I loved the time spent watching for whales. The ocean is huge, but they track the whale pods and usually, you see at least one or two!
The video with the whales is unique. I would love to see that.
it is a lot of fun. my wife and I were going to go when we were in Maine last fall but we missed it by two weeks!
… Where did I put my head?… I feel like this on some days! 🙂 Cool videos Doc. I would definitely enjoy whale watching.
the last time I went we were about 25 feet from a whale. I noticed my coworkers were inside and I was thinking that was dumb you watch the whale through glass.
i got soaked!
I would love that experience one day.
it was truly amazing. I love seeing whales in the ocean!
