The picture today is of a plant taken in our backyard in Indiana. I will share different flower pictures for the next few days and also where I took the picture.
Our backyard had three unique features in Indiana. We had the retention pond along most of the end of our yard. We had the stream that fed into the retention pond and we had the railroad track. When we first moved in there was a train (dinner) that ran along the track but they went out of business before we could take a ride!
This picture was taken near the bird feeders along the fence line between our yard and the railroad track.

Spectacular firework show! I don’t like the sound and smoke, but it’s a magical view without doubt.

Cannot handle the sound any more. But others do, so I say enjoy!
our dogs hide from the noise so I am not as big a fan anymore.
