My husband took this picture a while ago, maybe 2 years ago? But I can’t stop looking at it. You can see how the bridge offsets the rainbow perfectly! It is now the rainy season here in Jerusalem and I will be on the lookout for more rainbows! Rainbows are a natural phenomena that happens when the sun is behind you and you are facing the rain. Each raindrop acts as a prism and spreads out the white light of the sun into its different colors. Each color is at a different level. It really an optical illusion. A person standing at a different place on the ground even in the same conditions, may not see the rainbow at all!

Enjoy your Rainbows they are here for an instant, to bring joy, cheer and inspiration.
Whenever I see a rainbow, it reminds me of the time in Noah’s day at the end of the flood.
Well if we read carefully the verses about the rainbow, God promises that he will not destroy the world again with a flood. So he puts the rainbow to remind us not to do the things that caused God to want to destroy the world. Don’t lie, cheat in business, do violence. . . I think about this even as I see the beauty of the rainbow.
Same thoughts I have when God reiterated His promise. Thank you for your help.
I love staring at the rainbow. It is such a beautiful sight.
