I challenge you all to put up pictures of when you have all the same number of notifications! I found that I have all the same number 3333 notifications, wow, how cute! I will put up again when I see 4444 and 5555 and 6666 and so on. I took a screen shot and then I pasted it to an e-mail and sent it to myself and then downloaded it and then uploaded here. A lot of work for one picture, but a picture is worth a thousand words.
I still have too many that I need to delete.
Now the system has deleted many of my notifications, I may delete the ones that I have already replied to.
I try to zero mine out every day, but that’s just me

It good to use the notifications to see what others are posting, and then you can answer them. I go into old notifications and go back and answer the questions too.
Geez. I’m struggling hard to reduce the notification number, Rachel. Last month the number exceeded that since I was inactive for several months. Can other numbers besides notifications?
What other numbers were you thinking about? I am open to other ideas. Points can be used, for example.

Nope, it’s not from the notification but from the profile page with a large font.
I check my notifications daily. I have 31 this morning, but they will be gone in a few minutes. This is how I keep track of what people say and my way to make sure I answer all of my comments.
I see, well, I guess having so many notifications does use up bandwidth in the site.
I also don’t keep notifications, but I am well past 55555 at this point.
I didn’t know some people dont check notifications.
