It’s that time of year again when you can dress up your home inside and out with Halloween pumpkins also known as Jack-o-lanterns. If you live in North America or in any part of the world where Halloween is celebrated, there is usually an overabundance of pumpkins of all sizes on sale this time of year.
Most pumpkins purchased around October are for carving and anyone can carve a pumpkin with the help of carving stencils and a knife. You can carve scary , funny or the classic Halloween pumpkin faces. I carved the ones in the photo freestyle by simply drawing a face on the pumpkin and cutting out the shape with a knife. Of course pumpkins are also delicious and nutritious.

I put a ceramic pumpkin after, my friend
I do have some ceramic pumpkins as well.
The only thing we do with pumpkins is cook them . LOL
I cook them after I carve them
I like the one sticking its tongue out.
Yes that is a funny one.
Beautiful picture. I cut pumpkins for Halloween. Of course, I also use them in cooking.
I hate to see them go to waste after using as a decoration
A lovely photo. I used to decorate but not so much any more.
Thank you. Decorating pumpkins can be a bit dangerous with the knives and all but fun when its done.
Yes, it’s approaching already and to me, it’s a fun time.
