The Lives of the Miners Living in the Californian Gold-Fields!

Hi. In this 3rd quiz on the Californian Gold Rush; we examine the lives of the prospectors that lived and worked in the vast gold-fields region of California’s “Gold Country” in 1948 and 1949.

By analysing the range of civil amenities, societal conditions, political structures and legal processes which existed for the miners in California (and in the “Gold Country” in particular) during the first two years of the gold rush; we can develop a better insight into this eventful historical period.
