  1. Seven out of eight on this quiz. The irony is that when the Southern Command Network television in Panama would show the newsreel footage on this incident on December 7. In America it is hardly ever shown on television.

  2. 5 correct out of 8 – not bad considering that it is not a historical event that British people know a huge amount about – not the names of battleships, anyway.

    I find your comment about the Cold War interesting. I would have thought that America`s delayed involvement in the European War, leading to governance of part of Berlin after the War, had much more to do with it than Pearl Harbour.
