South Africa is well known for its leading statesman Nelson Mandela, its wildlife, and excellent climate. We also just happen to make the best wine, and have the leading constitution on the planet. These are just some of the fine things my country South Africa is known for.

I got 7 out of 11 right!
Great quiz, fascinating. I only got 3/10 right, but I did at least learn something about SA here.
i made an error about FW, he was the last apartheid leader. so I guess you have 4/10 now. Cooool.
7/11 … super quiz
Thanks for playing Vidocka
Hmmm… think you got the De Klerk one wrong… which means I would have 9/10… which is pretty damn poor seeing as I am a South African!
Hi Ginny,
Sorry that was my fault. In my next quiz I will have to be more accurate. Tanx for playing
6/11
Tanx for playing and good score
I got 7 out of 11 right!
Great score but I made an error about de Klerk -he was the last apartheid era president.
4/11 Cool quiz!
Hi Gina,
Thanks for playing. I did however make a mistake about de Klerk, he was the last apartheid era president
Good quiz. I got 8/11. Can you explain in what sense de Klerk was not the final apartheid-era president? Also: Madiba spent 18 years on Robben Island, which means he spent 17 years there :p
Mandela spent 27 years in prison. And I made mistake about FW, he was the last apartheid president.
Great
11 out of 11.
8/11 – but I don’t know how wrong my wrong answers were!
Hi Indexer,
I believe I made a mistake about De Klerk – he was indeed the last apartheid era president.
Yes – I did wonder about that. De Klerk was the President who freed Mandela and then worked with him to ensure the transfer to majority rule. However, he certainly started off his Presidency as an “Apartheid” President.
