New Zealand Shore or Water Birds

I cant have every sea bird included here, because I have not had the opportunity to photograph them. An Albatross would be great to see, but they can only be seen in the South Island and that is too expensive and far away for now. Maybe I will win lotto or get more earnings or something? Who knows? Anything is possible.!

Anyway, here is what I have for a quiz, just for fun. See how much you know. Some of these are not just restricted to New Zealand.

There is such a variety.

  1. Hi! I must apologise for these questions, I put the right answers on to the quiz but it did not stay as I put it. With the help of the Virily angel Natalie, we have redone the quiz. Have another go. Also I put a post on New Zealand birds and this has some of the answers to this quiz to make your journey easier. I want to thank all of you for your previous attempts to answer these questions.

  2. Good idea, but there are some technical problems. It was already mentioned, that some questions aren’t showing the right answers. Also in the 4th and 5th – if these birds are not Gannets and Heron, then who they are? 🙂
Great idea and beautiful photos anyway, thanks for this quiz!

    • Sorry about that. I had the right answers but often find trouble getting it right doing quizzes. I check and make sure and they don’t come out as I ordered. Next time I will do a draft first.
