He was surely a great artist.
He was and he passed it down through the genes. His kids are also talented.
that’s nice, do they make names in the showbiz now?
Yes. Many of them are into reggae music like their father but they are also into other businesses like selling coffee and certain types of consumer electronic products.
Great subject matter, missed one.
Thanks. My husband is a Bob Marley fan. I learned a lot about this artist because he introduced me to the music.
A great talent he had for sure.
I love Bob Marley. He is such a legend. I enjoyed this quiz. I got 7 correct, so pleased with that score. =)
Great score! I enjoyed putting it together. Been a Marley fan for a long time.
Missed only two. If Bona Marley had sought treatment easry he would still be alive (at least), and there was high possibility he would have been the president of Jamaica.
Love listening to his songs from younger age till now, they still echo the truth and struggle for survival. He was such an inspirational.
Well, one never knows in life and death situations. If it’s your time to go, then it’s your time to go! But it seems that had he accepted medical treatment when diagnosed he might have lived longer. But we will never know.
As for being president of Jamaica, I never even thought he had that kind of ambition or aspiration. I know he was very political but I don’t know that he ever wanted to run for office. Do you have additional information on that? If so, do share.
Some years ago I researched on Bob Marley and read he was killed by CIA because they didn’t want him to gain that position. It was a form of assassination because he was a likely candidate.
Once I get the information, I will reply back.
I got half right on this one. Not really familiar with Bob Marley’s life so was pretty much guessing.
Great quiz. I have five correct answers. He was a great singer.
Celebrities : Bob Marley Rastaman Trivia
You got 4 out of 8 right!
Three out of eight on this Bob Marley quiz. It is a shame that a great artist like him died young.
I knew Bob. His only wife was Rita Marley. Cindy Breakspeare was just another of his gals. When Bob died, without a Will, Rita got 50% of all his property, his 23 Children shared 25% and his mother and other relatives shared the other 25%.
He was shot in the arm, Rita and his children weren’t hurt.
“Sources”. There is so much circulated about Bob Marley, on the Internet, in books, etc. Different sources have different stories. When you say that you knew him, do you mean that you knew him personally? As in you could talk to each other one-on-one? Did y’all go to school together? How did you know him and have you written anything about him? If so, I’d like to read it.
I met him in the 70s, I know Rita well, I met Peter and know Bunny. We moved in the same circles. Before major fame he built a house to the East of me. The images of him on the Beach are on that beach. I still talk to Bunny and his wife Maxine.
Nice to know fame has not corrupted them and they still act like ordinary people. Some people forget where they came from.
