What you see in the photo is Yam flower. I came to know of it after a few creepy moments. I was taking a stroll in the garden and from a distance I spotted it and at that moment it looked liked a snake resting in a coiled positon. I hesitated to go any further but curiosity got the better of me and I moved forward. And lo and behold there was this yam flower that had sprung from the ground.
Yam flowers need no plants to show up. Stored yams get those flowers without a single leaf around them.
Not many plants have these unique looking great flowers.
