Hello Introvert, I am always aware of your debilitating condition and the anguish you so bravely withhold from society. It saddens me to hear of your failing health, my dear friend. Might I respectfully mention a simple, yet effective exercise to slightly, ease the mental fatigue which acompanýs all systemic pain. When you experience an “episode” exhale as deeply as possible, through your open mouth, next, as slowly as possible start inhaling through the nose, (if possible) At the same time, if you are able, tilt your neck backward, while you do this breathing. There is almost an instant activation of the vagus nerve which in turn releases endorphins, (the feel-good hormone) and at the same time, balances your cortisol levels, (part of the fight or flight response) I hope this helps to stabilize your nervous system. (it helped me a lot during my 10-month hospital stay and subsequent painful leg amputation. God bless, Andre’
Thank you so much, Andre. I will apply the exercise as often every day. I see it does help mentally. God bless you.
You are most welcome. Every new day brings possibilities and challenges my friend. Remember, my friend, the Grace of God… has appeared, schooling us… to live in this world… reverently. Titus 2:11,12
I have written on the topic of health often myself. It sounds interesting and if you have anything also written on herbal medicine and so on I would be interested in reading them. Looking forward to your health articles.
Thank you for taking part in this poll, Sandra, it is a great help. 🙂
