In many American homes and in many American restaurants you can always find ketchup! It’s a condiment that people use for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Some people use it as a cooking ingredient for certain recipes. But what about other parts of the world? What might one easily find in the refrigerator, in the pantry, on the table, or in a restaurant in the Middle East or Asia? What should one expect to be served as a replacement for ketchup? I wonder.

I do not use ketchup. I prefer to add homemade spices to eat.
So tasty!!! Rarely use ketchup, often add sour cream/olive oil in some salads.
Ketchup is good, but it is not made to be poured everywhere. ?
Pasta with ketchup, for instance, looks like a nightmare to the stomach. ?
I prefer homemade mixed with store bought sometimes.
I’m just lazy. If I can buy a quality store-bought product, I buy it! It’s just convenient.
Some really cool otions from around the world! Apart from dry spices, I don’t really add many things to my dishes.
Since I live in Texas now I should have added salsa and pickled jalapenos.
for the homemade versus store-bought – great question by the way. I really like some things homemade, and some things store bought.
So I answered store,
but I meant both!
Most of the time if I eat a condiment that was homemade, it was made in somebody else’s home. I don’t do homemade very well.
It takes a lot of time and patience- but don’t give up! You can make what you love at home it just takes practice!
I realize that. But I’m surrounded by other people who enjoy homemade foods. Some of the sisters from the church love making homemade stuff and they make so much they have to give it away. I got some homemade spaghetti sauce and jams. Some have gardens and they grow stuff then they have to make stuff with it! Tomatoes. Strawberries. They can’t eat it all so they give away what they make.
well then you are as they say living the life of riley!
