Always nice to see the wild mint starting to grow in my container garden. I have this one in the screen room. My cats enjoy a bite every now and then. It is good for them. I also use this in my hot tea. Has a nice fragrance and taste to it.
Brings back good memories of walking with my grandmother, picking wild mint and drinking tea with her on the front porch. The good ole days.

I like it in hot tea with cream and honey. So good.
i like cinnamon honestly, mint in hot tea isn’t one i’ve tried often though.
Funny I have never seen a wild mint grown here.
It grows in the woods usually, you have to know what to look for as it blends with other shrubs.
Which means it night be grown only I don’t how to differentiate them from others.
So lovely! I have been thinking of planting some herbs.
I love this one, it comes back year after year.
Thank I learned something new I did not know that cats enjoyed wild mint.
You are welcome, cats love this stuff. Gives them a little energy. It is like the cat mint in the pet stores.
This is a different variety of wild mint than what I have growing here! I didn’t know cats liked mint. The chickens here love it.
Yes they actually sell cat mint in pet stores.
I have melissa in the garden. I think that is quite similar to methyl.
Probably similar. I love all kinds of mint.
I grow mint on my balcony. I use to drink mint tea.
I love the tea and my cats enjoy the mint.
We planted mint in the garden where I work. I don’t think she’s wild. I love mint tea.
This was started with a cutting from a neighbor. She started hers from a wild cutting years ago.
