“Oh my goodness, it’s hot and they are not listening at all. I just want to get these few things done so we can cool down and relax for ten minutes.” It was running through my head like a soundtrack on a loop. Finally I lost my temper with the boys. The big ones and the little ones. I told them exactly what I thought, minus any cussing.
“Don’t you think now would be a good time for a little compassion?” rattled the youngest one.
“Who taught you that word?”
“Well, you did but apparently you forgot. Would you like a refresher?”
I stopped dead in my tracks and hung my head.
“It’s okay. We will give you a do-over right now, but don’t make it a habit.”

The beauty of children throwing out words like compassion is remembering when they use it, and reminding them later!!!
In fact kids are very clever in 21st century
Nowadays, kiddies are so good at giving wisdom to adults. We just need to listen to them.
There is a reality show for kids going on right now and the things they say about parents is shocking on television that too
Kids do say the darnedest things as they say.
Type alert, where is the editor when you need it…. *darndest*
Children do speak about their wise teachers such as yourself.
“Out of the mouths of babes” is the quote. They can really shock you!!!
