Today, my new client gave me this gingerbread. Till now, Christmas looked to me somewhere too far away still, but it gave a feeling that Christmas actually is very close to us.
The time when cities turn into Christmas cities. Biscuits – gingerbread. Smiles – Christmas and kindness smiles, and dreams and expectations – Christmas miracles.
With the days running down to Christmas morning when the evenings start to sink in the smell of cinnamon and ginger. When the world is illuminated by tiny light bulbs and our own daily lives – by the faith and a little naive hope that winter holidays will bring magic to where we long for it most. When hot chocolate cools in cups and routines are dispelled by gift lists, looking into recipe books, and the rustle of wrapping paper.
When Christmas comes. Comes into hearts, into homes.

I like to see others enjoy it. I am a bystander.
Looks so cute! Almost too beautiful to eat. I already decorated for christmas, and now with the snow I am in holiday mood.
Not much into the holidays any more.
