Once, when reading this article, you will realize how important it is to be aware of the vision of the horses. This lesson will change the way you approach and work with your horse, creating a safer environment of trust.
Do horses differ in color?
Many scientists believe that the horses can not distinguish colors, but there is no scientific proof of this. Extensive studies have been conducted on horses’ vision but the question of whether horses differ in color or not yet answered.
Do horses see in details?
Horses see fewer details than humans, but they have a much wider field of view than we do. Their vision is very sensitive to movements, allowing them to be alert to possible dangers even at night. Horses hardly recognize depth. For this reason, many hunter and hunt players will find it more difficult to jump over wider (deeper) obstacles than single ones. The horses also can not sense the distance of their body from an object.
