Just a reminder to remember all of those who are no longer with us not just today, but every day. I unfortunately do not need a reminder. I have lost many loved ones over the years. And I know many of you have as well. This candle is in remembrance of everyone who have gone on before us. We will see them again one day. They are forever in our hearts. And please mention their names. So many people are afraid to say my son’s name… Dustin. I do not want his legacy to ever be forgotten.

I’ve lost grandparents, and my uncle who I was very close to (he was like a father figure to me because mine wasn’t a part of my life). They’ll always be in my heart.
I’m sorry for your lossed loved ones as well.
Sorry for your losses. Life is hard. Thank you.
Somehow I have to say it, but I realize that those close to us are always with us, not merely in the heart symbolically but as lives that exist even though in different forms or in different bodies. I even realized that I have reunited with many people from the past.
Yes I know exactly what you mean. When I recently lost my Dad, I felt a strong presence with me until lI got his business taken care of. I absolutely believe he was around me, reassuring me things would get better.
Did you know that we also know each other in the past life? Hehehe…
Probably, the jury is still out on that one for me.
That is good! Never trust me before you prove it. Hehehe…
my son Nemanja, was a baby of 20 days, my father Savo, died at age 56, my friends Tiho, Kaja,They are forever with me in my heart
Sorry for your losses Branka. One foot in front of the other.
A much needed sentimental post. Although some of our loved ones are not here with us they live within our hearts. Those moments we have shared are priceless. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for commenting Bradley, we all have faced pain and loss.
I have lost many people over the yeras. My best friend died our senior year in high school. My best friend (after moving to Ohio) died before getting to meet my daughter (he really watned to). My grandparents are gone. All of my Aunts expect one is gone. My wife’s parents are gone. My father is gone.
Thank you for reminding us to light a candle for those not with us.
Life is unfair very often Doc. That is why I often tell you how blessed you are when you share your photos. I am very sorry for your losses. And you are very welcome.
I am very blessed. Losses hit all of us. How we move through, past and around them shows who we are as people.
And like they say, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.
That is very true, hard to argue!
My son Joshua, lost to us 13 months ago, will be forever in my heart. Let us not shy away from naming names. Thanks for doing this, Carol 😀
You are very welcome Norman, many are afraid to say their names.
I lost parents, aunt, and my late pets as well as a friend.
So sorry for your losses, pets are a huge loss as well.
I lost my parents, grandparents and one niece. I will remember them until we reunite one day on Earth.
I am sorry you can relate with your losses, reuniting is what keeps me going.
Thank you for commenting.
Knowing that we will reunite with our loved ones is a great hope.
As long as we keep them in our hearts, they will always bee alive in our memory.
Absolutely correct Ellie. It is difficult but it is what it is.
I lost my mother, my father and my only sister. They are forever with me in my heart. Of course, many other friends. Their memory is bright.
I know what you mean Elenka, keeping their memories bright is the best we can do.
Damn nice poll indeed it makes you go back nostalgic
Thanks, I have lost many loved ones.
