Love ItLove It

Was It Supposed to Make Me Laugh?

I am not quite sure what the point was, and I am often kind of out of the loop.  I checked my messages where someone informed me that I am “ostentatious”. I had to look it up! “characterized by vulgar or pretentious display; designed to impress or attract notice”.

I guess I do want my thoughts to be interesting and worth sharing. If that means I am ostentatious I guess I had better stand up and own it. I think we all write hoping that someone will read it and have a reaction. (I am typically hoping for a favorable one and sometimes that happens.)

I suppose people send private messages for a reason. So I am happy to not mention the name of the sender and keep that part private.

  1. That perfect person ostentatiously displayed his/her real character of envy and jealousy at “the attention” readers/viewers give you because of your impressive, interesting articles. More attention, more readers, more esponses— more virils. That’s what we all want, don’t we? That’s probably the reason he/she is accusing you of ostentation (I googled the noun form of the verb, doesn’t sound right, but for fun sake…so, yeah…).

  2. i guess my friend I would say two things.

    1. consider the source that said that.
    2. you are not.

I know Ostentasous people, they are the people that talk about themselves. They focus only on them. They do not care about the success of others.

They are also not people that I call friends.

You are someone I consider a dear friend!
