One of the items mentioned in the ‘FAQ’ section of Virily (https://virily.com/faq/) is “When Guest view your post you get 1 viril. There is a limit of 500/day”.
Is this item still valid and in existence?
I am asking this question because I am not getting any credit (virils) for views I get from search engines and other sources where I share my posts.
If this is no more valid, then the site admin should either score through this item or delete this item in the ‘FAQ’ section, so that we need not waste our time in sharing our posts on social media.
What are your views? Please share them in the comments below.

Very interesting post …….
@tasartcraft, now it is clear. Thank you.
I think its a No. At least not from google search views, I don’t know about social media …
I’ve my friend searched for my quiz on google so she could take them, no points for that.
I do think the FAQ should be updated, it’s not fair for people who share a lot…
for some may even feel “cheated” after getting nothing from putting in efforts …
But for me, I don’t share on social media.
@alibb, I too stopped sharing on social media, when one of my friends here informed me about it.
I was sharing my post on social media but i saw i have less views than before.
So have you stopped sharing your posts on social media? I have stopped it. In the absence of any incentive for our time and efforts, there is no point in sharing on social media.
I stopped when I saw that there was no profit. I agree the time that we spend to share the post we don’t earn.
As the others said it looks like we do not get credit like we used to.
If that is the case, I think the site has a moral responsibility to make an announcement to this effect.
So, you mean to say that everything here on virily is unfortunate?
So, don’t you think that the site ‘admin’ should set right those ‘unfortunate’ things to ‘fortunate’ in the larger interest of the site?
The answer is a lot more complicated than simply yes or no. If, the person you share to on Social Media has a valid credit, you still get credit for that.
If the person as the others mentioned is simply a social user, you do not get credit. Sad, that cost me quite a bit of per day traffic.
What do you mean my “valid credit?”
Sorry just credit.
You do also get one credit for the referral of another’s article to Social Media. Previously they had massive site performance issues when they tried to track all social responses to a share.
You tweet this post. 400 people read it. They used to track that, but it really hurt the site overall.
Now you get credit for the first referral out that you do.
Will I get credit for the “first referral out” of each post including mine?
So the honest answer is I haven’t checked in a while. Let me post something on Social media and see if we still get credit for that.
I checked this morning. We no longer get the credit for the first share. Sorry about that, it must have been removed in the last update.
@docanderson, What is that last update? Do they inform us or on the site?
They upgraded the site’s underlying software. It happened about a month ago or so. (they upgraded the site itself).
At such times, don’t they inform us the changes being made on the site?
traditionally they haven’t notified us. But the changes are occurring frequently.
Till april i was getting viril point from but since may I am no more getting any viril for guest view,
So there is no point in sharing on social media sites. Right?
Yes , even i have written an email to support but no response.
So, this is how they treat their user member’s grievances, doubts, and concerns, it seems.
I think i was enough lucky
“Much earlier” means when? Did the ‘admin’ inform the user members in any way? If not, how did you know that it was disabled?
Yes I do share and no you not longer get a viril for getting those views, but your total number of views go up. At least that is the way it works in my account. I would be interesting in knowing if everyone is the same.
hi ghost, without getting any virils for outside views, how can your number of views go up?
Your reply is only confusing.
