Sharing a photo of my Tulips blooming for the Nature Tuesday challenge. I snapped this photo after the rain yesterday. There are a few tiny rain drops if you look closely.
Every year I look forward to seeing these blooms. They grow from bulbs planted in the garden and come back every year. Always glad to see them. They last about two weeks usually. I have other colors that should bloom soon as well.
Hope your day has been great. Sharing the joy and freshness of spring with you.

Awe, so pretty. It is springing!
Thanks, they are always colorful.
Beautiful tulip flower, dear Carol
Thank you dear friend, they are always one of the first to bloom after the daffodil.
Exactly so … with me, daffodils go to the end of the tulips, and they are still missing
Still no daffodils? Hopefully soon my friend.
Narcissus are … now we are waiting for tulips
I like lots of tulips, but unfortunately their lives are very short. I hope this year I see your Queen of the Night.
I completely agree and when these were planted about 11 years ago I knew nothing about plants. The black one has budded but is much smaller, maybe more fertilizer is needed for next year. Will post when it opens.
Wonderful Tulips – did you and LaJenna decide to each post wonderful Tulip pictures today? (or yesterday).?
Love these can you share a picture that shows where they are in your entire garden?
No, I was late posting and my tulips have started blooming apparently at the same time as hers. Yes, I just wanted to share this macro to show how cool the inside of the bloom is.
Well awesome capture. I was just laughing that you both posted in the past 24 hours red tulips!
And this will happen more and more as the season progresses.
But mine are actually orange, a vivid orange.
I bet it will.
I would bet the garden is starting to bloom daily!
Yes Doc, each day I am seeing something new. Exciting time for sure.
Lovely tulips!
Red flowers are just so captivating!
Feels great to see them 🙂
Thanks, these area actually orange but a bright orange. I love seeing these bloom each year.
Oh… it looks red in here …
but still pretty anyways 🙂
Yes the sun made it look red I believe. They are a dark orange.
Do they have tulips in Narnia? Do they have wooden clogs in Narnia?
Ha! Well these are actually in my front garden. The Narnia sunsets are from my back deck.
guess I will haveta get Mr. Tumnus to klip klop for you in Narnia
Tulipan is a beautiful flower. Especially in these colors.
Thanks very much, I love these blooms. Have a great evening.
