I have noticed that we live in a world where sincerity is often hidden or perceived as negative. Some are not sincere out of carelessness, and others are afraid they hurt others if they are sincere. And those who are sincere regardless of the situation, are often considered boors or insensitive but…. better seagull than parrot!
I am one for sincerity. I support sincerity to the core. A censored and fearful world is not good, on the contrary in time it leads to falsehood and loss of identity.

Is it hard for you to accept the truth?

Yes

No

As adults we must be able to bear the truth, even if it is not in accord with our preconceptions. That said, sometimes it is better to wait for the right time to state the bald truth.
What if the right time never comes?π€
Then it will be a long wait.
I remember while I was working I had to politely tell someone her mouth was smelling bad She was so grateful to me that we became the best of friends.
Being unnecessarily frank may be avoided. But if telling how it is helps the one who hears it that is the way to go.
A very lovely photo. I also agree with you and I know as I accept one good thing a bd one might follow and then I take it in my stride not to let it overwhelm me.
Interesting discussion piece.
Does the truth hurt though, and why would it hurt, and what is it hurting in us, if it does do so?
My answer would be, that the truth cuts away extraneous non-truths from us, and leaves itself alone, and so if we are attached strongly to these false attachments to the truth being cut away, this will hurt us, unless we welcome the cutting, and feel the healing it brings then to us too, like an abscess being pierced, and drained away of its pus.
I agree with you and I accept both good and not so good things in life whether I want to or not.
