Sometimes we look for the perfect places away from home, other times we find them one step away from our daily lives. On a hot day like today, the most enjoyable thing is a boat ride on Lake Chindia which is near my house. Sharing this photo with Thursday Reflections.

We have couple of famous lakes within 200 km from my house in India and a few within 5-6 km in Canberra. I love rowing, electric boating etc. It’s one good way of outing for me. Thanks for this lovely photo.

Lovely thing to do, go rowing in a boat, are boats like that for hire?
As children our Uncle in Ruakaka (by the beach) had a boat like that and we used to row in it.
