When roses get pruned I wait patiently to see those red shoots that show up. I am happier to see those shoots than the flowers themselves.
No doubt there will soon be buds on that plant and roses too. But that joy to see those red shoots is something else.
Unless pruning is done roses do not yield. We have done that to our roses and I am happy to see the results.
The climate this time I notice is conducive to see progress in our garden.

Many things make me happy, the birds and the cats I suppose lately.
Ultimately nature does that for us nature lovers.
They are so beautiful against the sky!
Quite a lot has brought me joy, the Chameleon Rose and now a Red Rose is showing buds.
Even at the bud stage there is excitement.
Roses are one of my favorite flowers so I have them in my garden.
They require quite a bit of our time.
My kids and nature always bring joy to my life. 🙂
