There was never a repeat of this

There was never again  a rose in our garden  having the kind of perfection one sees  in the photo.  The plant is alive but the roses that come up are mediocre despite the  plant getting all the care that it needs. 

That is when I think nature has a role to play.  It happens all the time.  Same conditions but different results.  I have given up trying to analyse  what cannot be cured has to be endured. 

Atleast I have a photograph of what once was a pride of Solitaiire.
