A well-to-do but awkward English teacher, Kurt is living in Prague. Being ina strange country he a kind of Christmas “orphan” with nowhere to go for the holiday — To make matters worse, he is stuck in an apartment with the power shut off and no running water– Then he gets an invite to one of his middle-aged student’s home for a Christmas dinner.
Kurt is unaware of what a strange situation he’s blindly walked into. Besides his student’s obvious drinking problem, his marriage to his younger, attractive wife seems troubled. Kurt must figure out and navigate a strange domestic situation. This happens before the traditional Christmas fish is prepared and eaten for dinner…
