This is the story of the couple Daniel and Nerissa. They are part of the so called street people or homeless. The picture shows their wooden cart that they use for moving whenever there are authorities in the vicinity. The cart has been their home ever since the eldest of their children was born. Now they have 4 children, the baby is not seen in the picture while the guy seated on the gutter in gray is the husband.
As intimated by Daniel, they receive donations from passersby especially at night since the business district is buzzing with diners who have the heart to share. It seems that money is easy and their only investment is the cart. If they would get a housing unit from the government, they would have no means of livelihood. In other words, the couple and their children can be considered a beggar family. That is the reason why the cart is their home for now.

I often see homeless people on the streets. Very sad.
It is sad but I wonder why he cannot get himself a job and why have so many children when you cannot support yourself?
It’s very sad to see living condition of this people.
First of all, they should not have had all those children and second why can’t the guy get a manual labor job. That is not way for the kids to be living,
