I have never made a picture of the sunset in black and white. I was wondering what the sunset would look like in black and white. I decided to play a little bit with the picture. I have to admit I was surprised. The sunset does not look so bad. Of course, it is much better in colors. Every motive is not good or beautiful in black and white. I think that the sun is one of these motives. At sunset, we are fascinated by various shades of colors.

They are really beautiful in color but this one is good in black and white. And I’m thinking of putting a black white dawn on Friday.
I agree … Sometimes it’s nice to look at a black and white picture for a change
sunsets rely on color, so if you can make yours work in B&W then you’ve done something right

This is stunning. I have edited a few sunsets in b&w and there is a completely different feel to the photo but still beautiful.

I did one, where I put the camera on the sand and shot level. Then turned it into black and white. Ive done a few that really work well. It is surprising though isnt it. I mean, why are sunsets attractive? The colors so it does surprise one when they come out so well. Great shot.
