Sharing these purple pansies with today’s Nature Tuesday challenge.
Pansies are another favorite flower. Tiny blooms that will bloom even with snow on the ground. Never understood why they are called pansies. They can outlast some of the other flowers and plants during the fall and the harsh winters.
They come in all types of colors and varieties. I like the purple and yellow combination. They make great ground cover. And are a nice addition when the other flowers are not blooming.
It is nice to stagger your flowers to try and always have something in bloom. That is one of many gardening secrets.

Thanks, I love this color. Need to add more around the edges of the garden.
I am planting this garden and hopefully be able to share something of it when I have done some more work on it.

This color combination is truly the most beautiful.
Thanks, this is my absolute favorite color combo. 🙂
Beautiful! I remember reading somewhere that the name pansy comes from the French “pensée” – which means thought.🙂
That is a great meaning. I never knew that before. Thanks!
