It’s not the Eiger, and it’s certainly not the Atlas mountain range in sheer magnitude, but, tell me, this image of a glorious sunrise breaking over the Great Ridge is any less splendid. The Great Ridge is a ridge separating the vales of Edale and Castleton in Derbyshire, England. It extends for approximately 3 kilometers from Mam Tor at the western end of the ridge to Lose Hill at the eastern end, the lowest point being Hollins Cross.

I’ve traveled a lot in England, just don’t remember visiting this ridge … great picture, my friend
Thank you, Lado, it was taken by my son who lives there.
Another beautiful site from the world I have never seen.
Thanks, Carol, comes from an external hard drive of special photos, this was one of the last ones my boy sent us.
Very nice scenic view.
Thank you Florel, I’m glad you like it
