I was under the impression that I fell asleep hard and had a good nights’ sleep. I wasn’t tired when I woke up, a little sore but I didn’t feel sleepy. My husband just came in and announced that I must be exhausted because I talked all night long. Talking in your sleep, somniloquy, si common in children, but not necessarily adults.
Of course I was not convinced. He recorded twenty minutes of my sleep talking. I cannot make all of it out but I was clearly talking and that couldn’t have been very restful. So I wonder what is on my mind that is keeping me talking all night.
Perhaps there is much more I need to learn about sleep as well.

interesting. I know my wife does on occasion talk in her sleep. Normally she does, when she has something really big on her mind.
*two weeks before the wedding, to the wedding she talked every night*
Could you understand what she was saying?
seldom honestly,
it was often about things that didn’t connect with me.
stuff from work mixed with things she was worried about.
I never talk when I sleep but I have notice people talking while sleeping
Are you sure you don’t? How would you know?
I have been told I talk in my sleep. As a child I used to sleep walk. Now that was scary to wake up in the middle of your house, as child, in the dark.
I woke up one night in a bathtub full of cold water with my pajamas on. I assume it was warm when I got in!
Oh my gosh that is too funny! 🙂 Makes you wonder why we do this.
