Anyone who really knows me is aware that I love four seasons. I think each has it’s own special charm and I never want to live where I cannot experience this every year. My first sign of spring in always the first calf. Here the first calf always comes when the ground is still blanketed with snow. Everyone knew when I walked in the door, I had seen the first calf and I had new hope.
There are some other signs that I am waiting for. I want to see the first night crawler laying out on the rock in front. I want to see the first sprig of green grass push through the snow. I want to see hoar frost in the morning and green grass in the afternoon.

Every season is beautiful. Maybe it’s my favorite spring
Fall used to be my favorite season, but due to wanting spring to come ahead of schedule, I think Spring is my favorite season.
When I lived in Latvia I had all four seasons and really enjoyed spring and summer. Then my husband passed away and I returned to the US and since his birthday and the day he passed away are both in the summertime I now prefer the spring and the autumn. Except living in Florida now things are completely different and the signs of spring here are very subtle and of course, there is no winter.
Oh I love Spring, it’s my favourite season. I love the baby cows and lambs, and all the flowers blooming. It’s such a pretty season. =)
