I took a picture of this rather pretty looking bug a coupe of years ago and asked on some garden forums if they knew what this was. No one really knew. I searched on google and but I couldn’t find the same thing there though there are a few other similar looking bugs there.
I really want to know what these critters can do and if I need to be wary of them. Thankfully these have not to be found in my garden after a few weeks of having spotted them.
Whatever it is , ins’t it cute? It was less than a cm long. and looked like it was made of porcelain.

It looks really nice. I haven’t seen it yet and I doubt I would love to have it in my garden.
I think so too, though I have no clue what it does in the garden.
It’s a very pretty color … well I don’t have it in my garden … bugs only do damage
Lado, lady bugs help eat up aphids and other insects tht damage the garden. Not all bugs are bad.
Oh thanks for the kind explanation, dear friend … I really didn’t know that a bug could be useful … I usually have pests in the garden myself
I have seen this one and I think it eats leaves in my garden.
I hope they don’t do extensive damage in your garden.
Very interesting colors and design on this bug
I thought so too, which is why I wanted to share this picture here.
If you say it is less than a centimeter then I suppose only insect lovers would appreciate its beauty and that is not me (lol)
Why are you so rude to the poor insect LOL just kidding.
Our ficus palms are gobbled by them. (lol)
Grr… Sometimes I hate them.
I don’t think I have ever thought of a bug as cute.
No, not ever, How about lady bugs?
