Shadows Saturday ~ Zoo – Diggers underground trenches

A while ago I visited a zoo in Ljubljana where I also made this picture. I do not know why, but I really like and interesting these little animals. I enjoyed watching TV shows, but now I saw them live. These are Suricata.  Suricata in the wild live in southern Africa, where inhabit the very arid and open environment. They live mainly in savannas, deserts, and deserts, their presence depends heavily on the type of soil that must be suitable for digging trenches. Suricata resides in a large system of trenches with multiple entrances. They stay in the trench at night and in the hot heat also during the day, and they also hide from the predators.
