I didn’t know much about pirates when I was young. It wasn’t a popular topic. It seems like there are lots of children books about pirates nowadays, and only recently I read that there are ways to talk like a pirate. And I just found out, there is this “Talk Like a Pirate Day” that falls on September 19. It was started since year 2002.

We have some pirate whistle in this case.
I only remember reading about pirates during my childhood but not after that. Not quite impressed and so no not interested to talk like a pirate.
Q: Why couldn’t the nine year old go to the pirate movie he wanted to see?
A: Because it was rated “ARRRR!”

I wonder who invented that day, mate, so off we go to the plank?
