Remember those days how difficult it was to pose for a photograph? Cameras were hard to come by and we had to either call the photographer over or go to his studio. He would then give us instructions how to stand – a little this side- no a bit to the right please – that’s too much – a bit to the left please………..and by the time the photo was taken we would be totally exhausted.
Last but not the least it was important that we gave a smile and that he managed to do by asking us to say cheese.
What you see in the photo was of a naughty kid that said cheese in her own way.

Posing for the photographer in those days was quite a torture (lol)
Such precious memories, we take many things for granted now

Me too. I was just browsing through my photos folder and came across this little ones photo and memories of my childhood flashed back.
I still say cheese till date. I feel it’s just a simpler way to smile, especially thse days when I don’t feel like.
So they make you put on an artificial smile (lol)
Lol, yea. And luckiky the pics still come out great.
