Here is a mosquito I spotted on one of my roses. I just can’t go to my garden after dusk, these mosquitoes are all over the place. In the last few weeks we haven’t had the government vehicles which use an organic spray to kill mosquitoes come to our street.
Usually we don’t have a major mosquito problem in winter, but this year as it has been raining even in winter there are many mosquitoes around. I hate these critters as they spread all kinds of diseases. malaria, dengue etc.
I hate the annoying noise they make in your ears when the lights are off. We have to rely on liquid mosquito repellents which are plugged into to the electrical plug points to get a good nights sleep. I have tried using peppermint and neem oil dispensers which are not 100% effective.

Fortunately, we have no mosquitoes. Occasionally I see one in the summer when it’s very humid.
That is an awesome photo. Here in Florida, we get them when the weather gets really warm even in winter,
We have mosquitoes in the summer only.
Where there is greenery mosquitoes are bound to be there
I mostly face them when traveling abroad.
