Yesterday I posted a question for you to guess what kind of flower the bud will be soon. Here is the post…
Guess What This Bud Will Be Soon
Magnolia blooms are all over my tree. The big saucer sized blooms are very attractive. This bloom is about halfway open. You can see a seed pod behind the bloom, it has already bloomed. You can also see a raindrop on the bloom, if you look close.
The birds love the blooms and they are nice to see with the dark green shiny leaves. I always brag on how much I enjoy the magnolia tree and recommend it to anyone.
Thank you to those who participated in my poll. Magnolia was the correct answer.
Dawn was able to recognize the flower by the dark green shiny leaves.

Beautiful magnolia. We have other varieties of magnolia here, just as beautiful.
That is great, thank you.
Wow! I have two Magnolia Little Gems (same as yours in the photo). The white gems smell so sweet and delicate. Do you fertilize your tree? How often do you water a magnolia tree?
I do nothing to the tree. It self maintains.
I love watching the progression of the Magnolia buds!
They are beautiful buds in my opinion, and actually saucer sized.
have a grouping of them just outside our neighborhood along the back fence!
That is great. These are nice to have.
They really are amazing!
Such beauty from this bloom.
Thanks, I enjoy seeing these bloom.
That is a lovely bloom and I just love the scent of magnolias.
Thanks, the birds like these as well. Including the hummingbirds.
I guessed it from the blossom. The trees we have here usually don’t have leaves when they bloom.
Good for you! These magnolia trees are evergreen. The leaves stay year round but not the blooms.
That’s awesome! Beautiful picture as well!
Thank you, it is one of my favorites.
As usual I have the wrong answer again 😊
That is fine, guessing is fun. 🙂
You are right. I am mostly amused by the challenges.
