Preparing for the trip

I said a couple of days ago in one my post that we need to be careful with our wishes as they tend to become reality. When I said this, I did not know that so soon I will pack my luggage. 

The short story is that we have very good friends living in Fuerteventura, an island of Canary. I have been almost in all Canary islands but somehow in Fuerteventura still not. So, yesterday morning I had a call from my friend who suddenly invited me to guests. She is married to a local man and a few years already live there. She married in enough mature age but succeeded to give birth to three children. Till now, every summer they visited  Lithuania as it’s her homeland and there living her brother and parents, but due to the illness of her youngest daughter, she missed a trip to Lithuania this year. And she asked if I could fly to visit her for a few days. Without any thinking, feeling too tired, almost exhausted, I said yes. The same evening I searched for the tickets and unfortunately, I did not get the direct flight, but later, my husband succeeded to find connecting flight and said that will join me too. It will be a bit longer flights, but at this time of year, it’s almost impossible to get tickets so fast so I agreed with any connected flights. 

And so, today night we are leaving. WooHoo, I am so excited. No matter that it will be just a few days, but I needed it a lot. A short break from all works is what I need now because it’s too long to wait until our planned autumn vacation. I hope that I will have internet and will find a time to read some of your posts and maybe even share some photos from this island. So, be bold with your wishes, say them laud, think about them so often as you want and they may become a reality.
