Do you know why the flamingo is pink?
I always admired these birds when I used to watch TV series Miami Vice when I was a kid. After that every time when I visited the zoo I’d be reminded of these mystically elegant creatures.
Thank you sharing, I learned something new.

Flamingos are different from other birds – never seen other birds in such huge groups. I would not know why their colour is pink.
The color of the laundry depends largely on the pigments in the foods they find, such as shrimp, algae and crustaceans. I know that. I read many articles about them.
Flamingo birds are born with white-gray feathers, which gradually color due to a natural pink compound found in their food.
