When I decided to take a walk the other week to buy the roasted chicken for our dinner, I passed by the city’s plaza. (Read: https://virily.com/virily_poll/cutting-down-my-carbon-footprint/)
On the plaza stands a monument of a former president of the country, Pres. Manuel A. Roxas.
To many, he was like a local hero. Our city was renamed ‘Roxas City’ in his honor.
I took some photos of the monument.
Does your place has a monument that reminds you of a local hero?
