Perseverance is not giving up. It is persistence and tenacity, the effort required to do something and keep doing it till the end, even if it’s hard. Life can be difficult. It can be unfair. We all question things that happen. Most of the time with no answers. I am learning we cannot give up, no matter how many obstacles are thrown our way. Keep moving ahead. Perseverance is not giving up. I repeat this phrase a lot. As I observe this sunset from my deck I realize no matter what is going on, what has happened, who we have lost, the sun will rise and the sun will set. What happens in between is up to us.

When you dig a well, there’s no sign of water until you reach it, only rocks and dirt to move out of the way. You have removed enough; soon the pure water will flow. ~Buddha.

Would you like to share a life lesson you have learned?

Okay, I am back. Sorry I had to rush out. I think one of the main things I have learned is to not to clutter your life with things. The more things you have the more things you have to worry about, the more things you have to pay for, the more things you have to tend to and concern yourself with, and the more things you’re likely to convince yourself you need. Take time out to do things that make you happy and go out and enjoy nature. Enjoy the small stuff.
You summed it up Kim. I am decluttering as we speak. 🙂 Thank you for your comment.
Thank you again for visiting and commenting. 🙂
So good to have you back… Ah yes that wonderful view. This is a great shot. I will comment later more, I am on my out the door!
Thank you so much Kim. That is nice to hear. Take care!
Wow Carol or should I say Sunset Lady, this sunset is really captivating. The strong orange and yellow tones makes the sky look like its on fire. Also I’m beginning to believe that you are a natural life coach and philosopher.
Thank you again Bradley. Each sunset has so much beauty.
What a high compliment. After losing my son, I was a moderator of support groups for parents losing their child to suicide and I helped the new members as they joined, only because I knew exactly what they had been through. This is where the philosophy part of me comes from I guess. Thanks for the encouragement and continued support.
If what you seek is not revealed, the power is in continuing to seek!
You are absolutely correct Doc, thank you!
You are right, my three favorite words! 🙂
Great post, especially like the concept of learning without not paying attention to obstacles are thrown our way! Also the picture is super! And this is a small surprise for you – https://virily.com/culture/ancient-scandinavian-runes-for-my-virily-friends-part-2/
Oh my goodness, I loved your post, how kind of you!!!
And thank you for your comment on my post.
From the movie “Rocky Balboa” the line that I remember is to “Keep Moving Forward.”
Yes indeed you are right, thanks for sharing!
Because actor Sylvester Stallone has lived a tough life for 71 years and counting.
I did not realize he was 71.
He is up there in age which is just a number.
Another great message….thank you for sharing! And wonderful photograph!
How kind of you Courtney. Thank you for always commenting and your support means a lot.
One should never give up his principles. You must always go forward.
You are right, it is difficult but we have to keep going one step at a time.
Perseverance does not give up because the term of something we do continuously comes from faithfulness to the principles and laws of nature. Such loyalty does not judge difficulty or fairness.
Sort of like an automatic thing we do perhaps.
Like how water forms stalactites and stalagmites or punctures stones…
Great description Albert.
Hopefully helpful and useful
Ellie, This post could also be for your challenge as well. I will post another one for you.
That’s what I think of all my posts. By the way, you have a great golden sky!!!
Thank you and you are right, your posts would qualify for her challenge.
That is the thing that makes me quite difficult to post something different from the usual
I understand Albert.
Every post you both share are always inspiring and helpful, a challenge or a hashtag can’t change that! Thank you both for always sharing meaningful posts!
Also, that’s a gorgeous golden sunset! Beautiful capture!
Thank you very much Ellie!
