Sharing a photo taken from inside looking out to the bird feeder on my deck. Bluejays love the peanuts. You can see they get a whole one, sometimes two, and fly away to the trees to crack them open. They do this until every peanut is gone. And then they start on the sunflower seeds. So cool to watch them from my window.

Another beautiful capture, Carol!
Thank you so much Ellie.
New year plan? Maybe I’ll dropby for a peanut :p
Come on by, I still have some left.
I remember you said peanuts for blue jays, but this is an amazing picture! So cool, you captured it at the exact right moment!
Thank you Doc. It is challenging and Iw as inside taking this one.
You nailed it! It is such a cool picture of the peanut muncher!
I had to work, but enjoyed myself. We got the cutest little blue merle terrier puppy in that we all just fell in love with. As for New Years, I might stay up to watch the ball drop on TV in New York at 9! lol I have big plans for 2019. I still smoke, thats gotta go…
Awww the puppy sounds adorable. Yep that needs to go. 🙂
God has bigger plans for us in 2019. Since I have a gift of prophesy, I can see the same big feed coming for all of us. Feed that is bigger than our mouth, same like the bird is holding. What I can see is MUCH BIGGER for all those who love the Lord and have been loving Him unconditionally.
Blue Jays are such cute birds
They are stunning birds.
Of course I’m enjoying this last Saturday because it is a college football weekend. As for New Years, I will be with my clients all night.
Yes I am enjoying the games too.
I work the 3rd shift last night, and after I got off work I went straight to the bar to watch the LSU versus UCF game. Great game!
I watched part of the game, it was a good one.
Hello dear friend. I’m glad I find my friends here.
Yes and you have been missed greatly.
Seeing the bluejay gesture is like seeing a gunman who is ready for a duel in a cowboy movie.
My whole family and I visited my father’s grave today, also accompanying my mother to do some important things for her.
That is funny, he flew as soon as I snapped this one.
Glad you were able to visit the cemetery. I wish I was closer
to visit more often.
Does the bird know that you took the picture?
Cemetery of my father is about 20 km or less than 8 miles from my house, two times from my mother’s house.
He knew when the camera snapped from behind the patio door, and he flew.
I agree with you Carol. Bluejays are quite the birds with their peanut gathering and feasting. I wish I could feed them too but the neighbours would complain, as they complained in the past when I was feeding the squirrels. It sucks to live in a condo. But one of these days, I will have my own place and feed whomever I like. Great shot taken just at the right time.
That is too bad about your neighbors complaining. But you have your benefits, no upkeep. Thank you as they are a challenge to photograph.
This last Saturday I have been working but I won’t be working on Monday 31.
Enjoy your time off.
