Once upon a time I tried growing tomatoes on my deck. I was told by many how easy it was. Go ahead. Give it a try. It will be easy. You will have lots of tomatoes. Wrong. I was not successful. And I love fresh tomatoes. The one in the photo is the only one my garden produced. I was really proud of my one and only tomato. But I needed more. Oh well, I will keep visiting the local farmer’s market. Their fruits and veggies are always fresh from their plentiful and healthy gardens. And you know you are buying fresh, unlike at the local market.

I hope you have better luck with yours. This was my one only tomato!
I find the cherry tomatoes grow well on the deck and I get a bunch. However, the larger ones don;t produce that much on the deck.
That is what I am told. Maybe I will give them a try as I love them as well.
Great photo of your tomato though, sorry you didn’t get more than that!

I tried growing cheery tomatoes and they didn’t even make it to flowering :/

I researched and researched before starting the garden. Didn’t work.
