After waking these people, they were asked if they had any dreams? If has saw a dream how they are feeling? Are they scared after dreaming?Researchers found that the areas of the brain that control emotions during nightmares were dynamic.

In another experiment, he gave a diary to 89 people in which they had to write down the details of a week’s dreams. Finally, everyone was put on an MRI scan where they were shown negative and scary images.

Experts found that people who dreamed and did nightmares, the parts of their brain that controlled emotions. They reacted swiftly and effectively, while those who did not have nightmares were the opposite.

Top authors working at the University of Geneva says,  that we were particularly interested in fear. We wanted to see which parts of our brain are most motivated when we see a scary dream.
