This evergreen ornamental bush, eternally green, is part of the Berberidaceae family and is native to the forests on the west coast of North America.
It is a shrub that does not grow 1 meter taller, but tends to expand.
The flowers are intense yellow, and the fruits are as in the picture above.

They are not blueberries. The flowers of this plant are intense yellow while blueberry blossoms are white.
