My Echeveria Elegans

This plant was two inches tall when I bought it last year, it came in a two inch pot and out grew the pot in no time. I have had to re-pot it a few times over in the last one year. It has grown top heavy and tends to topple over or lean low because of it weight.

Now it is close to a feet in height and looks so pretty.  It hasn’t bloomed so far but has had like a few dozen pups. My garden now is full of these succulents now.

These plants are so easy to grow and are no trouble at all. You only need to avoid over watering and they take care of themselves. They looks so green, luscious and beautiful. Just a couple of these plants in your porch could make for a stunning setting.

Sadly a few of these plants have been eaten up by rodents in my garden, I think the juicy leaves make them seem inviting to these pests. Beware of rodent attack if you have these succulents.

The leaves are huge 1cm thick and easily around 12-15 cms across and 15-20 cms or more length wise. I am sure they would grow even bigger if I transplant them in bigger pots.
